  3.     AVI Constructor creates AVI files 
  4.     from separate bitmap (BMP) images files
  5.     already located on a disk.
  6.  
  7. Requirements
  8.  
  9.     1) You must have VIDEO FOR WINDOWS installed. 
  10.        (if you can play AVI files, you have Video for windows)
  11.  
  12.     2)  AVI CONSTRUCTOR REQUIRES ALL BITMAP IMAGES 
  13.         TO BE 24 bit (True Color).
  14.         AVI CONSTRUCTOR DOES NOT SUPPORT 256 (or LESS) color bitmaps (*.BMP).

  16.            If you are unsure what this means ...
  17.            Change you monitor setting to HI-Color 
  18.                 or True Color Mode. Now, all bitmaps you create will be 24 bit.

  20.         Some sample images were included with AVI Constructor.
  21.         They are all 24 bit images.
  22.         Try loading one of these images into paint brush.  
  23.         If the image looks like garbage 
  24.         -your in 256 color mode.
  25.         This means you should change your monitor 
  26.         setting before creating the Bitmaps for use with AVI Constructor.

  31. How do I add the Bitmaps after I create them with an image editor?
  32.  
  33.     Drag the Bitmap files (*.bmp) from the File Manager
  34.         or the Explorer and DROP them onto AVI Constructor.
  35.     Each image, if it's a bitmap file, will be added to the 
  36.      frame (file) list.

  38. What happens when they are added to the list?
  39.  
  40.     Nothing happens until you actually choose to BUILD the AVI 
  41.     (from the main menu).  So you are free to edit the bitmaps while using 
  42.     AVI constructor.

  44. How do I specify a file name?

  46.     Click on the 'AVI OPTIONS' tab.

  48. What does Trial Version mean?
  49.  
  50.     Trial Version means you can try it this program 
  51.     but it is severely limited.  In this case, 
  52.     AVI Constructor will only create AVI files that 
  53.     are less than 10 images.

  55.     The full version of AVI constructor doesn't have this 
  56.     restriction.

  58. Does this program work in Windows 3.1 and Windows 95?

  61.     in both Windows 3.1 and Windows 95.
